I don’t know about you guys but I can’t wait for the weather to warm up! I wanted to compile a few of my favorite trends and pieces for spring. These are some of my personal faves as well as things I have seen in stores and online.

I’m dying over lace, I love how girly it is and how it can really add something to an item. Along with lace, I’m loving off-the-shoulder tops and dresses as well. #1 is the perfect combo of lace and off-the-shoulder, I’m dying over this top. Another item I’m loving are little, spring colored bags. #3, #6 and #10 are some of the bags I’m looking at for the warmer weather. Perfect for on the go and they both are super easy with their crossbody strap. Sunnies are always a given! I always want to splurge on a pair but I usually end up breaking one each year 🙁 .

I’m also really a fan of the espadrilles wedge trend. I like this Steve Madden pair because they aren’t too bulky on the bottom. They’re also a perfect dupe for the Cholé ones! This pink leather skirt is soo cute too!! I want it so badly!

In Bloom

Ughhhh I just love Spring so I made a Spring themed collage! Okay so I am actually obsessed with these heels, I first saw them on one of my fave blogger’s (McKenna Bleu) Instagram and I had to hunt them down! Also ever since Gucci revamped their double logo belt, I’ve been hooked. I love this floral one but I think this summer I might have to treat myself to the black one, I’ve been obsessing for awhile over it. I think for the past year and a half I have really felt myself transition to quality over quantity, meaning I’d rather pay more for something and invest in it if I know it will last me long time. Now I’m not putting an end to all inexpensive fast fashion stores (lol because I’m broke) but quality is definitely more appealing to me now. I mean it’s called fast fashion for a reason, it’s meant to be worn and thrown away, that’s why it’s so cheap, so take that as you will.

Also look at me and my retail vocabulary, looks like this college thing is starting to work! Thanks for reading guys!! p.s. click the pictures for links!

Save or Splurge
Here’s a look that won’t break the bank. Throw a jacket on with either look and you’re good to go! I think with the subtle pops of red that these looks would be perfect for a Valentine’s daytime look. Click the little pictures above for links!
I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! I’m off too work today, Old Navy is putting me to work like crazy this week, but no complaints!

Okay so I have been loving the embroidery trend lately. I really want to add a few embroidered pieces into my wardrobe and have been searching for the right ones! I wish I could afford the Gucci sneakers because I have been obsessing over them for months! Lately I have seen a lot of sheer or tank style bodysuits with floral embroidery and they are so cute! Everyone else must think they’re cute too since every time I go to buy one they’re sold out  🙁
Make sure you guys click the small pictures for the links!! Tell me your favorite trends going on right now! Have a great day!

Save or Splurge #2

So for today’s post I decided to put together two similar outfits, one being more expensive and the other more budget friendly. I definitely have champagne taste on a beer (very cheap beer) budget. As a college student and a fashion lover, I love to daydream and look at all of those beautiful, expensive pieces, unfortunately looking and owning are two different things.

As I have mentioned earlier, I am beyond obsessed with vests. I figured I would do a Save or Splurge centered around a cute olive green colored vest. I added a cream sweater, dark wash jeans, a nude cross-body and leopard flats. Super cute and super easy! How do you guys wear your vests?
