Isn’t my sister too cute! I wanted to share some pictures from a few weeks back of my sister, Gabriella. I think this outfit is perfect for summer, especially now that it’s actually warm outside. I’m sure she’s going to live in this outfit this summer!

Hey guys! Today’s post is about the most relatable tee ever. During Mom’s Weekend my family and I wandered around my college’s building, McKraken. The lighting is bomb so I took some pics! I want to do a post later on focusing on my major and the many things I’m trying to accomplish during these four years!
So, my shirt is from Old Navy (of course) and it’s super comfy. I have another one as well; they’re the relaxed tees and there’s like a million different styles, prints and designs to choose from. If you guys read this post, then you would know that the zipper broke on these jeans on the day I took these pics. I updated you guys on Instagram on my new pair. I love them! I wore them out on Saturday and I’m obsessed. They’ll be in a post later on!
Thanks for reading!!
So this past weekend was Mom’s Weekend at OU. My whole family came down and it was so much fun. My mom and dad skipped work on Friday and my sister was on spring break and they came down that day! We did a little shopping and had dinner!
Saturday is when all the festivities took place. So, my fashion club, Fashion Associates produces a fashion show every year for Mom’s Weekend. This year was an Alice and Wonderland, Mad Hatter theme. By the way, I’m planning on doing a whole post on getting involved that’ll be up next week! I’ll talk more about FA then.
It ended up being a great show and my sister even walked in it! Model’s wore clothing from boutiques and stores around Athens as well as a store from Cincinnati!
How cute was our snapchat filter?!
My other org, BSCPB, the Black Student Cultural Programming Board also had a Mom Expo. going on. There was food, free massages, henna tattoos, and lot’s of dancing. I had to sneak out from hair and makeup to make sure I got my mom a massage appointment!
My mom and dad wandered around campus doing different activities and shopping before the fashion show and expo!
They even had a photobooth, there’s always one at OU events!
That’s all for today! Thanks for reading, and please, please, please like my Facebook Page (just click on the pic!!)
Have a fab weekend lovelies!
I wanted to switch this post up with something a little different. So today is my grandmother’s 87th birthday, and it is so sad that I’m in Athens, so I’ve decided to dedicate this post to her. In the past eighteen years that I have been around I haven’t missed one of her birthdays. It’s sad that I won’t be able to celebrate her birthday with her this year, but I know she’ll enjoy herself and be surrounded by others who care for her. I hope she has a fabulous birthday full of love.
Be on the lookout for Friday’s post, I talk about one of my favorite trends going on right now! Stay tuned and happy hump day!
